Packing is the part of a move that quietly eats a week of your life. Full service moving hands the entire job to us. We arrive with the boxes, paper, blankets and tape, pack your home room by room, load it, move it and unpack it at your new address.

Everything is inventoried and labeled by room as it is packed, so unpacking is orderly instead of a scavenger hunt through thirty identical boxes. Fragile items are wrapped individually and anything that warrants it gets a custom crate.

You can also take it partway. A lot of families have us pack the kitchen and the fragile items, which is the slow, tedious part, and handle the closets and the garage themselves. We will scope it however you want it.

What Full Service Actually Covers

A true full service move is packing, materials, furniture disassembly, wrapping, loading, transport, unloading, reassembly and unpacking. Some companies advertise full service and mean they will carry boxes you packed yourself. When we quote full service, the assumption is that you walk out of a fully packed house and walk into a functioning one.

Packing Materials and Method

We bring everything. Dishes are wrapped individually and packed on edge in dish barrels. Wardrobe boxes let hanging clothes go straight from closet to closet. Electronics are wrapped and boxed with padding. Art, mirrors and glass tops get crated when the value or the fragility calls for it. Every box is labeled with its room and its contents so nothing has to be opened to be identified.

Partial Packing and Unpacking

Full service does not have to be all or nothing. The most common version we do is packing the kitchen, the china and the fragile items while the customer handles clothing and books. On the other end, unpacking can be full placement or just getting everything out of boxes and off the floor so you can settle in at your own pace. Either way the empty boxes leave with us.
